Extra Visitor

I’m playing this game for the first time and at some point during the first phase of the game (while there were still three visitors in the common space) my opponent somehow got a fourth visitor (the Bumblebee, FWIW), and I have no idea how that happened, and there’s nothing in the log about it. Where did this extra visitor come from?

Of course I post that and then I see the answer is in fact in the log: Arbutus. (“Discard three cards from your hand. If you do, draw a visitor card.”) This seems a little over-powered to me but I least I know the answer.

I’ve had this happen where I got one in my hand and didn’t know why it went to the middle, so thanks for pointing this out! I always thought that “draw a visitor card” meant “to the middle” but I guess not with Arbutus. Good to know!
