Personal notes etiquette

Post by Nathe356 »

What would be proper etiquette of the personal notes for turn-based games? Rules say no looking in the discard so that would feel wrong to put in the notes even if the game is extended beyond what was expected. That's the only limit on memory I can find in the rules. Would writing down upgrades chosen be fine or should you only join as many games as you can remember?

As far as I'm aware, writing down what's left in your draw pile is established practice for turn-based games. It's hard to expect players to know what hasn't been played recently if they move so seldom. Also, the rule exists in order to prevent AP, which isn't a concern in turn-based games.
