POLL: Should a 3rd deck be added to the game?

Post by BinDFW »

Poll: Should another deck be added to the game Spite and Malice to prevent the game breaking strategy of hoarding wild cards to deplete the draw deck and thus force an end game?

Pro: Games end as you would have them end in real life, when someone's goal pile is exhausted.

Cons: Potentially longer games.

I can't figure out a way to do a poll on this forum, so please express if you'd be in favor of this fix or not.

I agree that those two ways to play the game lead to a quite different game experience. But why should you add another deck of cards? If you want to play until someone's goal pile is exhausted, just put less cards in the players' piles. Otherwise you're ruling out a certain style of play, which some players seem to enjoy.
