Weird bug in Bang

I was playing the character that can choose the first card from the deck or from the discard pile. When one of my turns ended i got stuck in a loop where i had to choose over and over again a card either from the deck or discard. We abandoned the game and i had my biggest hand size ever. There were still about 20 cards in the deck i think.
