Find solo-only games?

I was about to submit a suggestion to add "solo-only" to the game filter, but figured I should ask if there's already a way to find solo-only games that I'm missing, even if it's a hack/kludge. Thanks!

No, this is not possible. Not sure if there’s a common demand for that. Not even sure if there are games on BGA that can only be played solo.

Edit: I like to play solo as well, especially games that are cooperative in multiplayer, but also others. I’m happy with the regular solo filter though.

What would be the point in searching for solo-only games? Why not just search for games you can play solo instead? If you're focused on playing one-player, I don't see why you'd be concerned with whether or not you can play with more players than that.

What would be the point in searching for solo-only games? Why not just search for games you can play solo instead? If you're focused on playing one-player, I don't see why you'd be concerned with whether or not you can play with more players than that.

Really wondering what the answer to this is. I'm hoping I'm just not understanding the request or it's poorly worded, because solo-only would be included within the set of all games that can be played solo. Is the thinking that solo-only games were specifically designed to be solo and that solo mode for multi-player games are sometimes an afterthought?

Yeah curious as well. I don’t like automas replacing human opponents that much, and I can also see why something like Ark Nova’s official solo mode isn't everybody’s favorite. It can feel like missing a considerable part of the game or playing a different game. Surely, in cooperative games in which open communication is allowed (the others can’t be played solo anyway), there’s also an important part missing when you play solo, but this part doesn’t have to do anything with the mechanics of that specific cooperative game. So I generally like these better for solo play. Just a matter of personal preference.

Solo-only games can be played solo in non-friendly mode. Surprisingly, "elo" ranking and trophies are not disabled for solo-only games (https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=122960), so they are an easy target to get for instance the "tilt" award...
