In a formula D basic race, can an option be available to "turn off" pitting?

You're still in the wrong forum. You'll get better traction by starting a discussion in the Formula D forum. This is the forum for discussing site-wide suggestions.

Additionally, all forums are for player discussions. Use the bugs/suggestions link (at the top of the Formula D forum) to make an official suggestions to the developer.
