This was just discussed above where you posted this and someone already made a bug report for it: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=207626

But just be sure, I made a bug report:

This should now be fixed.

As mentioned before, we are still looking into some of the points that your raised. We'll keep you posted.
Why are you only "looking into" and "some" of them when this update is worse on both pc and mobile, takes longer to do anything, and removes things that were working?

Many more clicks needed to see any info I need to decide if this tournament is one I would register for. Huge waste of space, and zero user experience thought about. As others have mentioned, why was this designed without anyone who considered how users will interact with it? Likely designed by someone that has never played in a tournament.

I enjoyed that people could invite me to tournaments, as some times I wouldn't look at tournaments for a while. And then an organizer would invite me to a less popular game, which I always appreciated even if I didn't end up registering.

But I'm not holding my breath that bga will do anything, since their track record is horrible. 100+pages of ELO changes with only a handful of bga replies with zero feedback or answers. I wonder how long it will take this thread to get to 100.

As a tournament participant, this is far worse than the old version.

I’m not adding anything that others haven’t already said, but I want to add my voice to those expressing concern about the recent interface changes. While I appreciate the effort that goes into improving the platform, I don’t see how these updates enhance the experience for players who regularly participate in tournaments.

At times, it feels as though we’re expected to simply accept and appreciate changes, even when they negatively affect gameplay. Many BGA users pay for the platform, and it’s frustrating to see updates that adversely impact active tournaments, especially when this has happened more than once in a short period.

I hope more consideration can be given to how future changes affect tournament play before they are implemented and that resource can be applied to areas where tournament players are asking for changes.

When I try to sign up for a Tournament, I can't - I keep getting messages that I need to train for the tournaments. What's this all about?

By default you need to reach 100 Elo to enter a tournament for a game, similar to Arena. A tournament host can invite someone below 100 Elo (or at least they used to be able to.....).

I assume the invite by link sent directly by DM still works for this purpose, so if you want into a tournament while being below 100 ELO you will have to DM the creator.

I'm not sure if it's a bug or intentional, but the way ties are sorted in the tournament ranking is weird. The tie breaker seems to be the number of points your opponents have won during the matches, but you get ranked higher if you allowed your opponents to win MORE points? That makes no sense.
