Accepting a player

I was wondering why we can't see other player before game starts. Before this season we had that option. I hate to say it, but there are players I'd rather not play. They are poor sports that play super slow if they are losing or just playing multiple games at a time.

Yes that's indeed new with this arena season.

It's to prevent cheating throug kingmaking. Joining a game with a friend, or second account, to win games.

If there's players you don't want to play with, you can give those players a red thumb, and you won't be matched with them.

Whats new is that you need to accept before starting an arena game. It used to start right away, where you also did not had the chance do choose your opponent.
Also, this is not a specific backgammon issue, so it might be better put in one of the general threads.

Otherwise I agree with what tuut tuut said.
