WBC PBeM 2026 - Schedule, Results, Discussion

This thread is for all things Memoir '44 World Boardgaming Championships 2026 PBeM tournament related. Schedule and results will be posted here. Discussion, comments, questions are encouraged.

Scoring: Each match is worth 4 points. A player who sweeps his opponent will get 4 points (and his opponent will get 0). If each player wins 1 game, the one who gets more medals will get 3 points (and his opponent will get 1 point). In case of a tie for medals, each player will get 2 points.

Time Limit: Games are turn-based but please respect the deadlines. Each game should be completed within 3 weeks. If a match goes over 4 weeks there may be a penalty for the player who used the most thinking time.

Round 1 will begin March 1st and the scenario will be The First Battle of El Alamein, https://www.daysofwonder.com/memoir-44/archives/10431. Matchups will be determined soon, keep an eye on this thread.

Game options: Game Speed = No time limit, Duration = 2 ways, Mode = Standard, Scenario type = From the front, Scenario source = Days of Wonders database, then when the game starts Scenario ID = 10431
Important - I tested the scenario and there is one minor bug to be aware of - the unit with the anti tank gun badge behaves like a special forces unit, it can move 2 and battle, stars do not hit armor, etc.

These initial matchups were randomly determined using a random number generator. Future matchups are based on standings.
