Final Courtship Question

My opponent just got to choose the Fairchild for the final courtship even the category (Estate) we were competing in I was winning 5-2. What's up with this? I will end up losing this game as a result and am a bit upset as I can't find anything concrete anywhere to explain why this would happen.

The final courtship counts all four of the categories that have been revealed throughout the game. Not just the final category.

In your most recent game, that would be Service + Essential + Prestige + Estate. So your opponent wins 27 to 25, despite you being 8 to 2 up in the final Estate category.

This is covered in the Special Rounds section of the How to Play details you can find at the bottom of game screen within BGA.

The final Courtship round is scored on the total for all four Theme colours, rather than just the fourth. (If a colour appears multiple times, it is counted multiple times.)
