Does anyone play? LFO

Post by Peyrol »

I am a newbie looking for a real-time opponent. I want to dive right in on a 12x12 grid. I see a ghosted Arena button. I assume I need some experience first. Do people play in the Arena?

check the leaderboards under competition on the game page.

and you need to be 100 ELO for Arena.

From the game page https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?ga ... deldiavolo I activated the notification for when a real-time table is opened, but I rarely get notifications because there are so few players.
I've never seen a real-time arena game but I've played a lot of turn-based arena games.
You can see all the current games in progress here: https://boardgamearena.com/gametables?game=1139&all

I can play some real-time games with you and share some strategy/tactics.

Not enough people play this great game. Sammy’s advice is good.

I would recommend you play 10x10, at least to start. It’s the original format, and the games are shorter. …. When I’m playing 12x12 I often think, this game is over, it’s just going to take a lot longer for it to end! ;)

I would even like to see an 8x8 option here!! Board size affects the play more than you’d expect in this game. 8x8 would be great for short games and new players.
