I have ADHD. The number of times i think i got it right but forgot to read the cross on a clue, mistook two monsters for one another (the 2 green onez often), locked the bird in fourth place instead of second place, etc.
I already get penalised. When your logic is strong and you're fast enough at solving the puzzles, which is overall my case, figuring out what was wrong and exchanging the tokens or even restarting everything easily takes 3 to 5 seconds on an easy / normal one, can even double the time on some (even more if it takes you 5 attempts to realise there WAS a cross after all)
Adding a penalty would only be more penalising (and ruin the fun with my adhd, honestly. It's frustrating enough when i misread a clue and need to restart - solving 2 puzzles insteadof one xD)
"Spamming" the button only get you that far, the onlytime i do that instead of logic are on the occasional extreme ones i take the wrong way, and it's generally a sign that it's going to take about 2 minutes to solve
The only way to go fast consistently is to use logic anyways.
