Someone has to get the cards digitized (not as simple as glorified screenshots from other resources) and then make the effort to properly script the game. Given the relatively low traffic for this game, I doubt this will ever see the expansion.

As I had stated about 4 years ago, I kept my word and haven't played this game here since, and won't play it until the expansion is added, if ever!
By 'broken', I presume you mean that there's a card (or cards) which if one player is lucky enough to get early enough, will typically result in a runaway leader problem? Or can you elaborate?

I probably haven't played this game enough to know of it or have experienced it (even though I've played this game more elsewhere than on BGA).

I did it (2nd edition in fact, without the new modules but I had started to work on them), it was published on BGA but then the publisher requested to remove it. I do not know why exactly, there seems to have been a misunderstanding between BGA and the publisher on what BGA was allowed to release on that game. I had to disable all my implementation of the second edition.
Since them the situation for this game is frozen (and I have to admit that I have lost any interest in maintaining it).

Yes, there is one such card in the first edition.
Some other cards were also a bit too powerful (but not as much).

Would you have interest in working the original expansion(s)? I think the adaptation would greatly benefit from it, although I understand it is work on your plate.

I would implement the minor expansion fixing balance of some cards but two conditions needs to be met before:
  • it must be allowed by the publisher,
  • good enough images of the re-balanced cards in the first edition flavor have to be provided (as far as I know the publisher will not provide them).
