How long are we going to have to deal with the tournament scene ruined. No invites. Ruined tournaments. And weeks later.. nothing. We dont even get any communication now. Zero. The French thread says all the same complaints so language difference no excuse. Where are you BalGarmor ?? We would love to hear something. The update destroyed tourneys and now nobody cares to fix it. Help. Please bga. Do something. Silence is not helping matters

Yodamos (and all) sadly, it is what it is. It seems clear that they are trying to fix tiny things here and there and essentially put lipstick on the pig instead of admitting: it's a pig! I have already canceled my premium and stopped all tournaments.

And most telling, I canceled my premium and got an email sending me to a page if I wanted t say why. Went there - nowhere to say why. So I just sent a message in a different section. All I got was "Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed that the new UI does not meet your expectations". They just don't care.

But honestly, when I came to BGA, I didn't know about any other options. Now I am finding the other options online. If BGA wants to kill a major part of what it does, I don't want to watch. Sadly, I'll be elsewhere. And the really sad thing is a few weeks ago - I was happy. I'm not leaving BGA - they left me.

Just for the record: It's been 19 days since the big change. This Thursday we'll have completed 3 full weeks that disappoint many of us -- unless, of course, we see some substantial improvement. I still have some hope.

As the previous poster said, it's been 19 days since the change. If the expectation was that we were just reacting negatively to change but that we would grow to appreciate the changes, I can tell you that is not the case.

I appreciate the two or three modifications that have fixed some issue, but the tournament pages are still terrible. All the information I need for tournaments is hard to find. Lots of scrolling and clicking unnecessarily for things that were all easily viewable in the old format. The Overview option for the tournament bracket in elimination tournaments is still horrible -- tons of clicking, no way to see the full picture. Your own results used to be in a different color (purple), which made it easier to find. When a tournament ends, there is no place that clearly states what place you got. You have to go to the results, click down a bunch of times and hope you notice your name (again no different color to help you find yourself among the field).

I can't find new tournaments easily. And it's more clicks than before. I can't invite my friends to tournaments easily to alert them to something they would want to participate in.

Participation in new tournaments is way down. It's very bad. Tournaments for any game not in the top 20 are on life support. You have killed tournaments and the community. That is not an exaggeration.

And all we get is silence. Do you really expect people to keep paying, to keep coming to this site when you treat us with such disrespect? The 30 pages of negative comments should be a high priority for you. You need damage control, not ignoring and hoping the problem goes away.

Some things that would make tournament use better:

1. The default view should be "Overview" not "My Progression". At least let us set a default view so we have a choice.
2. It would be great if I could filter for "Tournaments started by my friends or groups". I don't play public tournaments, so this would be very helpful.
3. In the tournament list, the most obvious thing should be the name of the game. Having the "title" of the tournament in a huge font, and the actual game in the tiniest font, is totally backwards.
4. Since some tournaments are restricted in various ways, we should be able to filter for those categories, like ELO for instance.
5. There should be tooltips or some kind of handy glossary to explain things like the different types of tournaments, "sleep" time, etc.

Thank you for adding back "number of games played". That was my biggest head-scratcher at first.

Still. When you scroll the tournaments and open one to register, when you go back to the list it's not where you were, it's gone to the top of the list. I've been. On this for a couple of years and it's always the same. Makes you not want to bother looking. Please fix.

There's a really strange bug where if you save a tournament as a draft, when you go back to it to publish it, it will remove Master rank ELO players from being able to enter, even if you had it ticked before. This is particularly strange, because the default is to allow all players Average-Master to enter tournaments, but if you save as a draft it unticks Master for some reason so it becomes Average-Expert. This will catch people out to exclude players they didn't want to exclude as it's very subtle, I only noticed because I was unable to register for my own tournament.

What is weird about the displaying ELO of registered participants bug too is it doesn't apply to creators. I had wondered what people were talking about with this, but now I see it. If you are the creator of the tournament, there is no such bug, you can see everyone's ELO as normal, for others (I assume anyone else, though maybe it's if you aren't registered to the tournament?), non-premium users are displayed at the bottom with no ELO.

It's cute that people are still posting suggestions. They don't ***. About any of you.
