Eh,

Instead of viewing merely place/positions...

What about a photo finish when the 1st player cross the line?

You see players move on THAT turn...

Exemple 2nd position might also cross finish line but with mouvements line you see he moved from further...and all others are shown where they where on that moment, so yes positions may change if the game still go on for 5 turns after, but as a real race, we care for the moment photo finish...also nice if you are in 7th at that moment to see you finish 4th anyways.
