In BGA any one player quitting a game causes the entire game to void all scores and changes to rankings, including for the players who wanted to remain. This is frustrating but often inevitable, in many games it is mathematically either impossible or at least silly to keep playing if the number of players changes during the game.
Poker however is not a game like that, so could it be technically possible to allow the game to continue normally even if some players quit it? They could still automatically pay their blinds and otherwise fold. It could keep going like this until they run out of money, without hurting the playing experience of other players. And if they don't run out of money and later want to rejoin the table, let them; no harm would be done.

It's incredibly frustrating and connection drops / disconnects seem to be happening more and more often.
