When an opponent concedes a game like Kingdomino right before the final 2 tiles are placed and the final total score is tallied, does this affect the winner's awarded points/stars, ranking, etc? And what do the stars do for a player?

When an opponent concedes a game like Kingdomino right before the final 2 tiles are placed and the final total score is tallied, does this affect the winner's awarded points/stars, ranking, etc? And what do the stars do for a player?

A conceded game is treated the same as a 1-0 victory. Elo is calculated purely on wins and losses; the margin of victory doesn’t matter, so it doesn’t affect your ranking any more than if you’d won the game by playing to completion. I’m not clear on what you mean by stars, unless you just mean the final score of the game which is shown as “Player X - 155 ”.

Oh, and in some games if there’s a tie-breaking mechanism you’ll see the tie-breaker with the star symbol by it. It’s still not really important, just showing you why Player X won.
