King of Tokyo: Mindbug Expansion

Post by BalGAmor »

The entire multiverse is shaking! Two iconic games collide and merge in a whirlwind of fun! The monsters of King of Tokyo meet those of Mindbug! This is not a drill: it is all coming from the brilliant mind of Richard Garfield, the legendary designer of both titles.

King of Tokyo x Mindbug is an explosive expansion for King of Tokyo. Its unique feature?  Each player now has a Mindbug token, allowing them to “mindbug” another player's roll and immediately apply the result to their own turn.

You thought you were going to do the slapping? Think again! You're the one getting slapped, and it stings!

New to the game? Familiarize yourself with the King of Tokyo tutorial first and then, simply select the Mindbug option before launching your table. Let’s get slapping!

Thank you to Richard Garfield and the IELLO team for allowing us to add the expansion to the platform. And we tip our hats to thoun for his amazing work porting it to BGA.

This was your Friday release.
Stay slap-happy but take care and play fair…

Always love king of tokyo content. I'm so glad the game and many expansions are available here.

Yes, always a good idea to include new rules link with a new expansion--I dug this link up on BGG:

I would like to be able to play Mindbug and be able to choose which expansions to play.

Played with the trial version already. A bunch of new cards for me to learn now.

My friends and I love King of Tokyo, so we were excited to play this in Alpha -- and had absolutely no idea what was happening. We muddled through it and haven't gone back... but yeah, rules would be nice!

Does this mean that we are going to get Mindbug on BGA?

That's the wrong one. But also very confusing because they simultaneously go both ways

That is Expansion-KoT for BaseGame-Mindbug

BGA has Expansion-Mindbug for BaseGame-KoT

This is the correct BGG page, and as of this post, the Files section is empty
