I have problem placing the pig and others non-standard meeples.

As the title said, I have problem placing the pig and others non-standard meeples. How does it usually work? Do you place the pig after you place your standard partisan? After placing the partisan, my turn immediately ends.

In one move you can only place one meeple. If you want to place the pig, you choose it from your supply and place it on a field that already has an own farmer on it (from a previous round). In this round you can only place the pig, no other standard or non-standard meeple.

I have the same issue, never know if my other meeple is selected when I confirm the choice
