Why can I make different number of table for different games?

On this game, I can only make 1 open table at once.

However, most games, allow me to make 3 open tables at once.

It seems to be random, or some unknown trigger, or side effect of the still difficult to use "new" game page UI.

I've noticed the 1 table limitation as well a number of times, apparently randomly, but was able to create at least 2 turn based tables just now for Dozito to test.

This is a bit of a vent, sorry. But illustrates that there are several ongoing issues with the game page table creation. I was just reminded of this bug when I went to look at one of my open tables waiting for players. This is sort of the opposite of your initial issue.

There are times where I create JUST ONE table and:
- in the right side panel of games in progress it shows no one has joined my table.
- ditto on the full games in progress page
- both places show only one table open from me for this game (as expected)

But on the game page (it's been a day I think since creation FWIW) I see:
- THREE tables open from me. One that has someone joined and one seat remaining to fill (why is this not shown on games in progress?)
- And two other tables that I DID NOT CREATE that are as yet empty.

I think in the past deleting those phantom/extra tables screws up all the tables, so I'm not going to touch it until the primary table fills.

I no longer bother logging BGA site bugs and haven't for ages as they rarely seem to do anything about them even if heavily voted for, plus recently they made the bug area harder to use so why bother. Thankfully the games and game devs are good or I'd be out of here given the steady decline of the UI (e.g. game page / lobby, tourney pages, bug pages).
