Houserule : Motor overdrive

Hello all,

first: all congratulations to the team for realeasing Fomula D on BGA. I've played it few times and it works perfectly.

second, a suggestion on house rule implementation, ignore it if You don't like it:

Since i have phisical copy of the game we used following tweak to make game little less luck dependant. We used Motor HP as overreving: for 1 HP you can extend current roll to number of fields that correspond to current gear. Lets say its like going into red revs

i.e. if i am in 1st gear if i use 1Motor HP i can extend my current roll for 1 point. 2nd- 2 points, 3rd - 3 points, 4th - 4 points, 5th - 5 points and 6th - 6 points.

We found it as better use for Motor HP and it balanced overall game nicely.

It's in the game, it's an option called "nitro". You can use it only once per lap. That might be different from your home rule.

There are so many home rules, it will be difficult to make them possible here

As a rule of thumb, house rules are never implemented on BGA unless the published gives an ok.

What conditions preclude enabling the Nitro? I was setting up games that I'd wanted to have it in, but it wouldn't let me enable it. What am I missing?

To my knowledge, the only condition for Nitro to be available is to set up the table to Advanced Mode.
