Boo to Gamme Logic changes

Post by tenaciousj »

Hello BGA,
The homepage for Gamme Logic requests feedback on the changes implemented and I'm guessing here's as good a place as any.

We hate it.

Having a sound to tell you when your items are misplaced in Bird takes away much of the challenge, and closing someone's game when they've passed everyone else's time deprives them of the chance to finish it regardless.

So from our group of five, we would like to be able to disable these features if you're going to keep them.
Thanks!
Jen

I agree. While this feature might be helpful to learn the game (especially for children), I certainly prefer to play without it.

Hey guys! There is a spot to post a comment on the Gamme Logic page! If you press 'See More' under the paragraph, there is a pop-up with game updates and that allows for direct comments! We need to resist these changes, keep Gamme Logic difficult and fun!

This might be a better discussion for the Gamme Logic forum, rather than the general site forum. Not only would you find more Gamme Logic players in the appropriate forum, but you'd cause less confusion to people who haven't heard of the game.

When providing feedback on something you ideally want to do it in a place where the requestor is going to see it. That is not here. I see no indication that the developers of Gamme Logic would pay attention to the BGA suggestion forum that is used to discuss sitewide issues and not any particular game.

The post you are referring to went to the Gamme Logic players group (https://boardgamearena.com/group?id=16492112) and as such I think the logical thing to do would be to reply directly to it, or to post in the Gamme Logic forum here (https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1073).

Otherwise you might as well shout your complaints to the wind; they’d stand about as much chance of being heard.

(Apologies for the duplicate as Kayvon wrote their post while I was slowly drafting mine! I’m gonna leave mine since I included links, though.)
