12 Spooky BGA Games (Perfect for Halloween!)

Post by MuddyZebu1052 »

What with Halloween 'round the corner for anyone who celebrate it, I decided it might be handy to compile a list of spooky games available to play here on BGA; games themed with ghosts, haunted old mansions, monsters, and the like. Perfect for Halloween, or just anybody that likes a good spooky game now and again, this saves you the trouble of having to search through hundreds of games to find them!

Hugo, AKA Midnight Party
Image
In this classic roll-and-move style game, you've been invited to attend a luxurious party at an opulent mansion. Your goal is to hide and avoid capture by Hugo, the ghost who roams the mansion's halls.

Ghost At Home
Image
In this card game, you try to be the first player to escape the haunted mansion by completing each of the rooms while using black cats to fend off troublesome ghosts.

Don't Go In There
Image
In this dice game, you've wondered into a haunted house full of intriguing cursed items. The goal is to make it back out of the house with the fewest curses.

Rest In Peace
Image
In this card game, you play as a family of ghosts who are feuding with another family of ghosts over who gets to haunt the most mansions.

Soulaween

Reap more souls than your opponent in this game by lining them up in the correct pattern, while also strategically planning ahead your next moves.

Dracula Vs. Van Helsing
Image
In this 2 player game you either play as Dracula and try to turn all the locals into vampires, or else you play as Van Helsing trying to kill Dracula.

Jekyll Vs. Hyde
Image
In this unique 2 player trick-taking card game play as either Dr Jekyll or Mr. Hyde each requiring different strategies. Potion cards add interesting twists.

Pagan: Fate of Roanoke
Image
Another 2 player game with each player playing a different role; one is a witch, the other a witch hunter.

The Werewolves of Miller's Hallow
Image
There are werewolves living among the villagers, with each group trying to eliminate the other while also trying to hide their true identity. This game requires a group of at least 8 players to play, but is well worth it if you can get that many together.

Crypt
Image
In this card and dice game your tokens must venture into a royal crypt to rob treasures.

Monster Trick

This monster trick-taking game is a treat!

Skull

This is a unique bluffing game, with tiles that are both haunting and beautiful.

I hope this list may be helpful to some of you. If you have any corrections or feel I've missed any games that should be on this list, please do suggest them below!

Ah... Not sure why the images didn't take... :?

Also, while it's not exactly spooky, Mascarade may deserve mention for any Halloween themed lists due to the costume theme. ;)
