So, I just went to Dice Tower West and discovered a racing board game called Pole Position from 2024...Looks like it was a Kickstarter joint? Anyway, I absolutely fell in love; best mechanic for the racing line through corners I've seen, all sorts of optional mechanics so you can either go simple or complex...Just so much.
Anyway, found a copy and bought it, and I'm playing it solo mode and enjoying it, but then I start to realize I'm forgetting to check things and the race results suddenly feel...hollow. That's why I like computer games, and why I love BGA: rules don't get forgotten. Everything is coded so there's no question of what's supposed to happen when and what you can and cannot do. So, it occurred to me: Formula D eventually made it to BGA...Maybe Pole Position can, too?
TL,DR: Hopefully enough people discover and/or love this game as much as I do and a port can make it here.
