Group is a SUPER simple game. Just add stones until you form a group of a certain size. Like on a size 5 board, you need to form a group of 9 friendly stones. [Theory ensures that it will always be possible for one player to win.]
There is an anti-blob rule, but I think even a smart 2 year old could play, just selecting highlighted, legal placements.
Anti-blob rule (FYI): On every turn, you must form the smallest friendly group you can. Somewhat paradoxical, since you're ultimately trying to form a large group, but this keeps Player 1 from having a runaway advantage.
