default card click action should not be to endorse

Innovation with the Cities expansion offers the possibility to endorse a card. The default behaviour on this site is that the card, is possible, is always endorsed. That is very unfortunate, as it happens to me many times, when playing at multiple tables, that i forget to reject the endorse effect and accidently use my target card as the endorsement. We all know there is no undo in this game, which would benefit players immensely. But my question for the designer, why make the enorsement as the default option? Why do i need to say no to endorsment before i can play? How about I will have to select Yes to endorsement, and unless i do, the default action is meld/tuck without endorsement. If it decides the game, this is quite enraging..
