Postcards: Your Ticket to the Tour of France

Post by BalGAmor »

Bonjour, les amis! Can you smell the fresh lavender and the warm croissants? Ooh la la, c’est magnifique! Today, we leave our worries behind and jump on our bicycles to ride through the beautiful regions of France, from the mountains to the sea, collecting postcards to send to our friends. But it is a race! So, put on your most stylish beret and start pedaling!

In Postcards, you’re a traveler cycling through all 13 regions of France. You’ll manage your travel cards, set up camps, and try to grab the most iconic postcards before your opponents do. You’ll need to plan your route carefully and manage your stamps to ensure your memories make it home! Each postcard you send brings you one step closer to victory, so grab get pedaling, and let the adventures begin!

It’s elegant, breezy, and the artwork is stunning! If you're new to the road, the tutorial will have you ready to cycle through France in no time! It’s not just about how fast you cycle; it’s about how many beautiful memories you collect along the way!

We raise a glass, of champagne, to Eric Dubus and Simon Kayne, the game designers, and the team at Synapses Games for letting us host their game. And a massive merci to Doctor Neo Cortex (Ábel Tibor Tóth) for the fantastic port to BGA!

This was your Wednesday release.
Wear your helmet when you cycle around, take care and play fair...

Somewhat random reply at this point and completely unrelated to the game release, but I do miss the whimsy of looking for "stupid Flanders" in these images. Oh well.

Does it sound pathetic every new game is presented with a fake accent?

Hi! The publisher didn't want to include solo mode or expansions this time. We don't have plans to add them in the near future.

I tried a game yesterday and really enjoyed it.
The art and theme are both great.
There's a number of interesting decisions to balance.
Mostly though it's just fun to bike around France collecting postcards.
I'll definitely play this one more.

This one doesn't have an accent but words in French which seemed accurate for a game happening in France. But duly noted...
