How do you see bugs list for a specific game?

Post by Shobu »

When entering a bug from the in-game bug button in alpha (top bar), how do you access to the bugs list for a specific game?
The "back to bugs list" button redirects you to the root bug menu, where you need to perform a tiedous manual research. The old interface had a button for directly checking all reports from the current game.

Yeah, they changed it. Hopefully they notice what they've done and re-add that.

In the meantime, just click the Filter by Game field and type in the game's name. That'll get you back to where the button used to take you.

That's a pretty terrible change imo, the perfect way to increase duplicate reports.

For what it's worth:

The old way had zero effect on preventing nuisance duplicate bug reports, even though the page that popped up specifically suggested that users check existing bug reports for the "bug" they think they found (99% of which are nonsense because they do not read the cards or don't know the rules and cannot be bothered to google the rules or read the rulebook.

In fact, I didn't even realize any change had been made, because I noticed zero reduction in nonsense duplicate reports.

Those new extra steps are kinda annoying, especially as i always check for duplicate before entering a new report.
An interesting interface upgrade would have been to display the bug list before entering a report.
But there's also a simple solution, stop making report.

Good morning!

We added a back to the game bugs button, the other one is always going to the last bug search you did.

Hi Mallou,
I have not seen the difference between the 2 buttons...
In all case, I loose the context : being not at first page and the number of entries for each page (I had changed to a bigger value than 30) !!!

i've noticed that new button (good), but it's only displayed AFTER making a new report. It's not visible when clicking on bug report from an active table

Great improvement, Mallou. This makes it a lot easier to check on open tickets after I finish resolving one.

We need to see open tickets BEFORE creating a new one. This used to be right there. Now we have to cluck back to bug list, then type in the game name and select to filter. It used to be automatic when coming in from a game, or was one click. Why remove that nice feature?
