Où se trouve le lien pour congés ?

Post by Hagardunor »

Bonjour

:geek:

I always found it funny that they would call it like that (I think it says "vacation" in English). Realistically, people are going to be using them for different reasons than because they are on vacation. (also, do they not know that smartphones exist and that people tend to have a lot of free time when they are on vacation?)

This raises the question of why does the feature even need to exist in the first place. I mean, people can't use it for tournaments, so why should it be an option in arena? There's too many ways people can exploit the feature for their own ends. Even if someone really doesn't have time to play, it seems wonky that they'd be allowed to extend a game like that. It can potentially hurt the other player if the end of the season is near and they aren't able to get a win that they should have had.

Not everyone likes playing on a smartphone.
Some may be on vacation on a location with poor wifi, out on excursion all day long, but have several turn tables on a high rate move value, so they need to check in several times a day.

Vacation days is the most neutral name. You could fall sick, and not feel in the mood to play. Or go to the hospital for a scheduled operation.
Not all players play Arena, so you can't say people use it just for extending time proper reason.

They could have just called it "joker" or something. That's a game related term and would work for all the reasons someone might decide to use them.

Oh, right... But they also call it vacation/congés, when there's really no need to.
