I’ve been closely following the discussions about how the validation button is used. I see the different perspectives: some want penalties, others don’t. But what guides me is what I call the editorial vision: beyond what’s strictly right or wrong, I’m aiming for what makes the game enjoyable for the widest group.

With this idea in mind I want to test a third option: The automatic validation.
As long as the players place their characters, the validated affirmation atomatic gain a checkmark.
And then all the affirmation are checked, the validation occurs automatically.

I feel this idea (automatic validation) could make the game more family-friendly. As players place elements, they’ll instantly see validations. Whether it’s perfect or not, I truly want to suggest this because it aligns with the spirit I have in mind for the game.

(With the help of a llm becasue my english is bad)

hi. so far I havent used the automatic clue validation a lot.
mostly cause I feel it is tedious, and loses me more time in many cases than it gains, cause Id actively need to look and search there.

if you really want to have this purpose ... can you make it better visible?
either by coloring a much thicker border of the clue in red or green. or primarily, if possible, by coloring the whole background of the clue in a shade of green or red.

I just made some change to ensure a better visibility.

Tell me if it's ok.

others are welcome to respond too 🙂

yes the green/red signal is better visible now, but the clue is much less visible.
the clues are still important (otherwise one could click and hide them).. like: red bird next to yellow bird, if you follow that, the 2 can still be in the wrong place overall, and you need to see or remember these clues for all the remaining round until you have the solution. (here: putting the red-yellow bird pair in the correct position later)

as I wrote in chat already, I think just removing the diagonal lines, and keeping the background shade (green or red) should be fine 🍀

* since I submitted this, yoann has updated it. now there are the options of thicker borders (better visible than before, green or red on clues) and diagonal lines on clues (which I did just deactivated). thanks.
