Why is TED game so unpopular?

Is it to hard, to ugly? To long? Poor BGA turorial? Is it no ELO system?
What is reason you DON'T play TED?

I played it a dozen times. I love it. Then I got distracted by newer games and forgot about it.

Today I remembered it.

Maybe it's too hard?
