Azul Queens Pavillion Scoring Difference

On BGA it states when passing or at the end of the game you can discard items from your storage for -1 each.

My physical copy, and the rules in the files on BGG, state you lose the value of the item (-1 for a tree, -2 for a bird, etc) when discarding.

Is the BGA version incorrect, is it special rules for digital, or is it an update?

Yeah inalso noticed a difference in the round scoring. It doesnt count visible pavilions
