I've been playing on BGA for a while with my friends overseas, but recently I started organising some occasional game meetups in London. Would you like to join us? Our next meetup is on the afternoon of 19th April:

I'm still trying to dial in the format and time to find a good core of regular (or irregular) people. We're in a really cool cafe called La Tostadora in Bethnal Green that does good coffee. It's also next to a really good pizza place
At the moment we pay for the space (which is why it isn't free), but if we can regularly bring in a crowd I'm hoping to persuade the owner it's worth her time to keep the cafe open when we're there.
I also want to connect to other London game groups so we can co-promote and avoid treading on each other's toes, so if you run a group or you're in a group and you can put us in touch, please do reach out.
Finally, I also started a discord, hoping to be able to play here when we're not together in person. We don't have anyone in it yet, but I'll make an info poster to tell our gamers about BGA at the next event and maybe we can get some people in. Feel free to join, sorry if it's a bit quiet at the moment! If people join we can build up a community for gamers who live in London, sometimes pass through, and someday want to visit
