Restoring Karma after forced quit

And if somebody else could get into the game, they could instead abandon the game as soon as everybody was negative, and that wouldn’t impact anybody’s Elo or reputation.

But only one player would be out of time, as it would never be another player's turn.

Oh, right. Which would suffice in a 2p game but not more.

I've recently had a problem with two games of Streetcar. Many people have reported the same problem - the table won't load - but developers have not been able to find the cause. So the only option is to quit the game. As a result, there's a Karma hit (times two) for me, which I feel is unfair since there was nothing I (or my fellow players in those games) could do, and now that lost Karma (from 100 down to 72) is preventing me joining some tournaments. Does anyone know the process for requesting BGA to restore that lost Karma?

I was thrown by that as well, but then I noticed that if you filter his game history by Streetcar games, it shows four games but says he has played six… His profile also says he’s had two quits in “239 recent games” but going back that far in his history reveals no quits. I’m assuming these two busted games are being hidden… for some reason.

I noticed those exact same things. Both of which are puzzling because I've never seen that before.

I received an email telling me I was running out of time on my Streetcar game - the one I quit and took the penalty for. So it seems I'm about to get a time penalty for a game I couldn't enter and that I'd already quit!

That e-mail may have been sent out before you had to quit the game. Those and other BGA e-mails sometimes have delivery lag.
