Cycling "Suggested" games

I didn't find any information or discussion about this, so I decided to ask here... When BGA gives four "suggested for you" -games, is there any way to remove or postpone them from the list other than playing? Like, if it suggests a game you hate and you would like to see a more interesting suggestion?

Sorry, I don't know how this list is generated or of any way to change it. I even can't tell you if it has ever changed over time. For now it shows me: Terraforming Mars, Agricola, Heat, Great Western Trail. Like you, I'm not interested in the games in this list, so I always ignore it.

If you would like to get some game suggestions specific for you, you may ask here in the forum. I often help people with that, and others do as well. Just tell us what you are looking for... But it looks like you have already tried almost all the games on BGA

That's a good idea. This way you'd be able to browse all the games of the website and not miss any you may like.

I think the list is generated automatically by games you have played and similarities. It changes every now and then, when new games appear on BGA and/or you play new games and algorithm gets more information. But it happens slowly.

I actually every now and then try it's suggestions (and then the list changes). But once it contains only games you don't want to play, it stays. And now the list contains one cursed city name I'd rather not see, as it makes me so furious.

Actually, not even half. I have a kind of goal of playing half of the available games in BGA, and current standing is 593 titles played, 663 not played.

So your reasons you want it to change are different. I suggest you directly contact support@boardgamearena.com about it and ask for a change.
