Modifier cards

Post by OliverYuk »

I feel like the modifier cards (like +2, +4, ...), should only work when you already have number cards.
For instance when I have a 3 and a +10, I should get 13 point. duh.
But in the game I played I just played on here I had a +10 and a second chance. someone froze me, and i still got the 10 points. This doesn't seem logical since on the card stands: "+10 the sum of your NUMBER cards".
IDK, maybe to the dev's look into it. What do you think?

Let me stop you right there. The rules always take precedence over how you feel a game should work. And the rules are quite clear on this point (italics added for emphasis):
Flip 7 Rules wrote: Modifiers are not Number cards and do not count toward achieving a Flip 7. You cannot bust on Modifier cards. You can end your turn with just a Modifier card and no number cards, and you would still score those points

If you have no number cards, then logically the sum of your number cards is 0.

I think there’s nothing for them to look into. The game is functioning as the rules direct.

A modifier adds to the total sum of numbers. If you have 0 numbers, your sum is 0. Then at calculation the modifier gets added.
