Why are my games all friendly mode?

I've been creating turn-based games and they're all turning out to be friendly mode. I've already adjusted my preferences under 'Play Now'. This seems to be happening to me only for this and another game (Miams).

Any advice appreciated for this noob!

Fellow spellbook noob here. Just started my first game, and it is also in friendly mode when that was not my option (I wanted one move per day). So I'm probably also having the same issue too. So it's most likely not isolated.
