Anyone else disappointed in the implementation?

Post by Molly Tauve »

The Challengers Beach Cup implementation feels like it wasn't done with as much polish as the original Challengers. There's still the bug where the game hangs and you have to refresh the page(https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=191626 and https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=183676). I also sometimes get a bug where I get floating plus values for no apparent reason (I didn't log this because I didn't have time after the game and there was no trainer or benched card that was supposed to give me any boosts). And then there are the statistics being missing still (I REALLY want to know which trainers are being picked and which win the most but that's impossible currently) https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=195410

And then the issue that really bugs me is that there is no way to vote for turn-based Arena games to have auto playing cards turned on. https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=205398 Also, does anyone notice that the option seems to be hidden from Turn Based tournaments as well?

There are also a bunch of other bugs that have been reported, but it doesn't seem like anyone is working on them, it's hard to get insight on what is being prioritized. I was excited when I saw the addition of combining games, but was sad when I saw the bugs that we have been encountering this whole time are still present.

They just changed the auto-play setting mid-arena, so that's great.

Otherwise, I agree. My games will hang, removing a card because of Grandmother requires a refresh, and there comes a time in games when the animations become jittery.

But hey, it's out, and I'm glad for that.
