Elo is completely irrelevant for Arena, both in matchmaking and results, that's why it's not (as far as I know) displayed.

Could someone explain how the Arena point system works across the different leagues?
For example, I’m currently in the Diamond league. When I win against a player with a significantly lower ELO than mine (often from a lower league), I sometimes gain only +1 point. On the other hand, if I lose against a player who has a much higher ELO than me, I can lose 4 points.
What exactly determines how many points are gained or lost after a match?
Is it purely based on ELO difference, league difference, or something else?
Thanks in advance for your explanations!
If you are not in the Elite league, you gain/lose 3 points against an opponent in the same league as you. Gain is increased and loss is reduced by 1 for each league you are below your opponent. And it's the opposite if you are in leagues above your opponent : gain is reduced by 1 while loss is increased by 1 for each difference in league levels
Thanks for your clear answer

That did next-to-nothing to fix the actual issue. A lower skill player who plays a lot will still end up in Elite, it just may take them another few days.
It really is frustrating, and frankly sometimes just very slow...you can end up with someone who is still figuring out the basics of the game despite it being "Elite".

Hello!

When I start an Arena game from the SOLO game page, NOT the Play Now page, it seems like I can select the ELO of my opponents by checking the boxes of Average, Good, Strong Etc... (Language can also, seemingly, be selected?)

But, eventhough I have checked the ELO Level boxes that I prefer, I am still matched up with opponents at different levels than I have chosen. Is this the programming, or am I not using the settings correctly? :D

There is no ELO filter for arena, that's kind of the subject and the point of complaint for this thread. The ELO filters you set on the game page only work for simple games, not arena. Best you can do for arena is filter by league. Which is done by clicking the cog wheel on the play now page. There you can select whether you want to only play against players in your league or +/- your league level.

Ok:)

Thanks for the confirmation. Probably should not be an option to make ELO opponent level choices for Arena on the individual game pages, if it is not an active feature.

Thanks again for your reply!

Also, in regards to ELO level selection being a SHOWN option, but NOT a functioning option when playing Arena games from the Game's home page, there is also shown a RED door that seems to indicate that the Table Access is Restricted. But it is NOT. This is an error in programming.

Nevertheless. I now know that the "restrict table" option is not a reality, just an image:)
