I have had two occasions where players that were losing click the Out of Time, Skip Player's Turn button when game is at 100% progress as soon as the time expired.
I understand the need for this option but feel it is being abused. It is frustrating to spend the time to play a game to 100% and this option is used strategically by people preventing a loss to their record. This is especially true if you are a less experienced, beginner or average player learning the game or spent time learning the nuances of the BGA interface in the game.
Personally, I would like to see the option changed at a undisclosed point during the game for Average/Beginner player as follows:
If a Average/Beginner player runs out of time, there should be a warning ping option to see if player is still on-line. If no response is sent, end the game as current practice. However, if a response is given, then set a counter for a second warning that will end game.
Good/Expert/Master have the experience and should continue with the timed games.
What say you?
