Multiple Elites

Just wondering if anyone else does this... In season 15, I started tracking how many games I could get to elite. That season, I reached elite in 13 games. Lately I've been trying to increase how many games I can get to elite. In season 24, I got 27 games to elite. Any one else trying to make it to elite in as many games as possible?

With the nature of Arena being a cycle format I'd probably aim for a minimal number of different games in Arena in favor of focusing on them if going after Arena. That way you don't have this vast number of resets and can instead emphasize how far you went in a specific game(s) that season. Arena is also a bit strange in that similar to how you can't go below 100 rating, once you pass Elite, you can't go below it, so it functionally serves as the starting line for Arena. So you'll even see literal 100 rated players in Elite League, despite 100 being the rating floor and Elite League being the highest league.

How is it the "starting line" if everyone gets relegated at the beginning of the next season? If a game has few tiers, it may be easy to get back there, but you don't start there.

In most games getting elite league is easy (if not at the beginning of the season). By limiting only your league, you can avoid a lot of strong opponents and get new leagues very fast. After that, you will not be able to limit the strength of your opponents, so this moment can be designated as starting line.

There's a few more prologues, sure, so it's a bit rougher than the trip to 100 is at least, but Elite is the last line where they finally end their "you can't lose anything" setting. You can't fall out of it, so it's pretty much your new minimum, hence me calling it the starting line. If you want to give it a different name, I'm not that attached to the term. But the League system breakdown is bizarre in that the biggest barrier between the leagues is activity, and then just largely gets dumped into Elite, which really cripples Arena filtering.

Season 25 and I've made it to elite in 30 different games. What's the most anyone else has?

If it’s unpopular and random then there won’t be many leagues and you’ll just have to wait for a win streak to get to a superior league.

This is why like Ceaseless says in most games Elite league doesn’t have much meaning. You can just push through it, then once you are in it you discover your actual ranking, which is hidden when you are in the inferior leagues.
