Scenario preferences don't work for me

Does anyone else find that despite selecting "never want to play" for scenarios, BGA still makes you play such scenarios? I have set my preferences to never play with a variety of scenarios (mostly ones using the Commissar - I HATE the Commissar - but some others as well), yet I still have to endure games that I have said I don't want to play.

I tried to file a bug report, but there were no dropdown options for settings-related bugs.

Where is the option to select that for scenarios?

Are you playing friendly, or Arena? Because for Arena, your preferences are not taking into account.

Je trouve peu clair ce systeme de preferences. Si elles ne sont pas prises en compte en arene, il faudrait ne pas pouvoir les y parametrer. Or elles apparaissent dans la page jouer, sur l'icone engrenage.

They appear are locked/disabled, meaning they don't matter for this mode... Although I agree that it's not obvious from the UI, but the UI is at times... perfectible

So if i play arena, who can pop up to play with? I play toy battle for example and bga keeps poping players way stronger than my level. I would like to play with people just above but not too much.

Ps: where do you see preferences as locked/disabled?

I don't know exactly how the matchmaking works, I guess it tries to match you with people currently looking for a game and around you level. So if at the time you're looking for a game, only strong players are also looking for a game, bad luck.

You can see the preferences are disabled because if you're on the game page with "Play" selected, and you change it to "Arena", the buttons and comboboxes become greyed out.
