There's a new map in play that revolves around revealing a person sponsor every time a worker is uncovered, and also a conservation project reward that lets you play a person sponsor for free. Although we have the current arena winner on the face of the Vicory Column, it is not considered a Person Sponsor by the game.

The card name defines whether it's a person, not the artwork.
Science lab, quarantine lab and science institut are also not persons although they picture one.
