I played one game of Catan for two hours. With 2 vs 1 Kingmakers.
I played a single game of Catan for a whopping two hours.
And what made me that way were two people who consistently acted as kingmakers. Not only now, but if you look at their records, they continuously act as kingmakers yet receive absolutely no sanctions.
They not only swore but also kingmade, and not stopping there, they continued the game for two hours without forcing an end.
I had only two options: end my turn and wait for them to finish the game and take last place, or force-leave the game to collect karma.
I have encountered many people like this recently, so I have forced myself to leave games. Since I can no longer collect karma, I was forced to continue playing.
I was forced to play for two hours in a game that usually takes at most 40 minutes.
I couldn't leave the game again because I was afraid of losing Karma.
I did lose Karma.
Because I left the game midway.
My time is precious.
However, I couldn't leave this game.
Because I couldn't afford to lose Karma any further.
Just look at the gameplay of Pes*** and Nem***.
They play malicious team games and intentionally drag out the time.
They trap their opponents so they can't do anything, spend time making deals that are advantageous to them, and mock their opponents while playing.
I can't leave anymore because I would lose Karma.
I keep encountering people who play like this, and they receive no sanctions whatsoever.
There are two of them and I am just one, but they commit the wrongdoing themselves and give me a red thumbs up.
They are either the same person using two accounts or they are a team, so they are the majority, and I am forced to receive a majority of red thumbs up.
I cannot understand this vicious cycle of a game system.
In reality, their karma is normal. This is because they have always played 2-on-1 games, and the opposing side receives more red thumbs.
While playing this game, I lost points and time, received red thumbs for no reason, and was subjected to taunting and insults.
I have suffered so much loss, yet those who committed the wrongdoing receive no sanctions whatsoever.
Look. Please.
Look at their game records.
They always play together. They must have played games like this countless times.
Yet, their condition remains perfectly fine.
Games exhibiting this kind of behavior are found countless times at Board Game Arena, and that is because you are completely unable to impose sanctions.
Why do you make it so that leaving a game results in a karma reduction penalty, yet force me to suffer through these games for over an hour?
I want to play Catan at Board Game Arena.
Please read my post and do your job.
Please, please.
Please, please impose sanctions.
Please look at the gameplay I suffered in Catan.
.
Please look at how they have been playing for such a long time.
Does it make sense that they are not receiving any sanctions while playing like that?
In a game like Catan that requires a long playtime,
I am forced to keep doing nothing but roll dice and pass turns, unable to do anything, yet the opponent refuses to end the game and toyes with me. Please, please monitor this.
