Sadly, I cannot see myself playing LC in its current form, which is a both a real shame - I've invested hours in this daft game - but might be a blessing.

At the moment, I cannot see myself bothering to play Arena ever again as the interface is not fit for purpose. I've played on desktop as well as mobile and while desktop at least works (you can see everything!) the experience is still poor.

A shame.

Could someone post a screenshot or side by side comparison? I'm on mobile and I don't see any difference so far (I only tried the Tutorial because I don't have time to play the game currently).

The fact that investments are 2x and can easily look like a 2 in your hand is awful
This is bad enough that if it's not an option I might stop playing this online
And I have two copies of this in paper, with the second copy being needed after the first started falling apart because it was played so much

Hi all, checking in again! Has there been any update on this??

Is there any way I can sign up to a mailing list to find out when the game is fixed so I can start playing it again? Thank you!

If the graphics revert back or the option to use the old style is added, I would like to know. I will not play the game until then. The graphics themselves are not as good but I could get use to them. However the game interface spreads it out forcing scrolling to see everything and sorts poorly and just is overall unplayable from a functionality standpoint.

So, the layout of my hand cards and draw pile being so far from play piles seems to be an odd issue. It shows correctly if i watch a replay and I have seen it correctly displayed when other people play on their phones. Not sure why mine is off. I can get over the graphics change if i can fix the layout. Another game, skat, has also recently started displaying differently when playing vs replays, cutting off part of my hand. If anyone has ideas, im all ears.

Besides the horrible graphics I'm struggling with the issue that it takes ages to be able to draw from the pile. I'm really sorry, but what once was my favorite game has become totally unplayable. What a bummer.

Hello developers,

I appreciate all you do to create awesome games to play on Board Game Arena. Unfortunately this version is quite a miss, please add an option to choose the original version. The original version played smoothly and was visually elegant. This new version is unplayable from functionality of selecting cards (pause before you can select highlighted available options), to scaling, and the appearance/numbers/color scheme being very difficult to play with. Sadly, I have been a fan of this game for years and will not play Lost Cities in the current version. PLEASE bring back the original version.
