Feature request: is there any way to get the replay buttons to float at the top of the screen, so if you re watching a replay of a game with a large set up, you don’t have to keep scrolling all the way to the top to advance one turn?

Hello, I have a suggestion regarding the interface: add the ability to open a tournament without closing the extension window in the "Tournaments" tab. This would allow quickly opening several tournaments without having to click the extension icon each time and without having to navigate back to the Tournaments tab.

I'm not familiar with the technical aspects, and perhaps this simply cannot be done, but here's what I mean: when you right-click on "Play now" on BGA in Yandex browser, an option to "Open in new tab" appears, but such an option does not appear when selecting tournaments in the extension.

Unfortunately, this is something I can't change: if the extension's popup opens a link, it closes the popup.

But I’ve just released a new version of the extension where you can display the same content as the extension’s popup in a side panel.
You won't have that problem with the side panel.
This option is accessible via the context menu (right-click) on any BGA page.
The Chrome version of the extension also features a new icon in the top-right corner of the site to open this side panel (an option has been added to hide this icon for those who don’t want it).

The new version of the extension is already available for Firefox and will be available in the coming days for Chrome.

Please add a feature to disable the chat altogether. There is another extension that does that but it does not work in Firefox for mobile, plus it'd be cool to have everything in one place. Thank you!

I'm sorry, but that's a feature I won't be adding. If I need to contact someone, I'd be really upset if they didn't respond because they'd turned off chat... especially if I had no way of knowing.
However, if someone is bothering you via chat, the extension lets you block that person. You can block up to 10 people. I hope there aren’t more than 10 people you don’t want to talk to

While I certainly respect your opinion,
There are people who won't chat, ever, or prefer not to. There might be several reasons for that, from autism to other disabilities or other emotional or practical reasons.

To those, the nagging chat is only a disturbance and a distraction, and it won't provide any answers to others nevertheless since they won't answer anyways.

So I still think that such a feature would have a purpose. You can't force anyone to answer a chat. Not to swear and not to insult in chat is certainly and fortunately mandatory by the terms of service, but
answering altogether isn't, just as fortunately.

I think this kind of feature should be handled by BGA. Users should be able to specify whether they agree to be contacted via chat, and other users should be notified so they can choose not to accept games with a user who refuses to chat.
Unfortunately, this is something I can’t manage via an extension. How do you notify someone who doesn’t have the extension that a user of the extension doesn’t want to be contacted?
Hiding received messages doesn’t solve anything; it’s a selfish solution: there’s always someone on the other end waiting for a reply and perhaps suffering from not receiving one.

Time to dig around the settings and see what's new! I am checking the settings from the bottom up, I had not bothered with the homepage stuff in the past. I see now that hiding the "How to play" section doesn't work. The option to totally hide the Tournaments section doesn't work either. I can't hide the new, popular and recommended games, I tried all three. Finally, the option to hide the latest news doesn't work. Is all this because of my Win7 Firefox? I don't really care much if they don't get fixed, I never visit the Homepage... Just testing things out now, looking for that side panel.

EDIT: Ok some of these changes work after I refresh the homepage. There are some options in the miscellaneous I don't see them change anything, like "News feed contains only groups messages" I don't think I see it change, even after a refresh. Also, is the "side panel" you asked about, this option? "A vertical bar for navigating between player boards is added automatically for compatible games. This bar can be deactivated in the game preferences"? I did not notice it change anything in a game when I tweaked it.

Well, I think you are using a too hold version of Firefox for the home page configuration customization
I just tested and it works well with me Firefox version.

"News feed contains only groups messages" remove all messages that are relative to the activity of your friends, like "xxx has finished the tournaments yyy".

The vertical bar in games is the bar that is dispayed in some games to help navigating to players boards (as in Abyss for example).

The side panel is a new feature. You are supposed to have a new menu item called "BGA Extension Side Panel" when you right click on a bga page. But maybe it will not work with you Firefox version ... You'll tell me
