Why 2-person for Arena?

Post by Mustard Apocalypse »

Excited to see Love Letter back in the arena, but why is it this bizarre two-person version? Not enough players?

The two-person game kills the vast majority of gameplay strategy, it is overwhelmingly decided by luck. Very boring and frustrating.

Gurus decide arena. Play enough to become a Guru and you will get to vote on it.

I know how Guru voting works, I'm just asking why they chose two-person. It's quite a different game and significantly less fun in my opinion. What am I missing?

Agree with OP. Two person Love Letter is a waste of an entire arena season.

You aren't missing anything...it's garbage with 2 player...simply allows boosting of EGOS for players that take advantage of single casual players.

4 player or none.

I think that due to the Love Letter Relaunch, they just refer to the default settings for the first arena season. And the default settings include '2 Player'.

Yes, 2-player is not very fun. But BGA has it as the default setting for some reason. Maybe a bug?

I agree, 2 player is terrible. Love love letter but I won't bother with arena this season.

I agree two-player is completely boring. However, I'm going to play to get guru status then vote 4 player. Join me! :D

You guys dont realize how new games added to Arena after the season starts dont end with the season end. This is stuck for all the rest of this season AND all of next season.
