... and with four of the six leaders from first expansion included with the base game launch.

The falconer and the captain have been confirmed, and by the look of the sceenshots of the game, the baroness and the professor are also in the selection.

Steam is a pain to have on a PC - it starts up automatically and uses loads of memory. [Unless that's changed since I last used it]. Hopefully,the owners should allow the expansion on BGA now

Ios and android adptations should be expected as always. Though given the prospect, any further adptation of games from CGE on BGA would be pretty impossible. Clearly they have opted for in-house proprietary apps. After finally pushing out Arnak and Codenames, CGE would be working on their next big release of SETI. I hope I'm wrong though

To your concern, should CGE stick to their tradition, they would have a GOG release alongside Steam. And that would be heaven given.

I'm extremely excited about the Steam port! I spend way more time on Steam than I do on BGA (plus, being able to play 'solo' against computer-controlled opponents will be great; not to mention the ease of doing multiplayer—either hotseat or online with friends—will be really nice too).
