I see now, yeah. I have the side panel. It shows the extension in a side panel, yeah... It might benefit some people, sure. One problem it has is that when it is at its narrowest, the X button to close it disappears, I have to click on the dropdown arrow menu on top and choose "Close sidebar", perhaps that can be improved somehow, to make the X button always visible?

I can see the sidebar (Chrome user) and it looks just fine, but mostly what I use the extension for is customising the look of things (dark mode, hiding elements) and letting me know if I have tables to play (when BGA is not open). So they're both pretty passive uses that don't really utilise the side bar.

The X button is a part of the browser 😔
Nothing I can do for that sorry.

Yeah I see...
To be honest, I realized by chance that it was actually pretty easy to do, so I thought, “Why not!”
Plus, I think it's fun to (for example) customize the home page and see the results in real time ☺️

One player asked me if it was possible to open all the pages for their current tournaments without having to reopen the pop-up every time they click on a tournament: so now it’s possible.

Now that it’s done, it might give us some ideas for cool features to add to this side panel? We will see!

The importance of minor tweaks can't be understated, yes. They all contribute to make the BGA experience so much better. But I won't lie, the dark mode and the in-browser notification for when it is my turn is what got me here first, if I remember right. These are the pillars you built your Parthenon on. :P

Would it be possible on the Arena homepage (https://boardgamearena.com/lobby) to completely filter out (as in, remove them from the DOM) greyed out games? I don't need 3/4 of the page being games I can't actually interact with because I haven't reached 100 Elo for them yet.
That would be for all three sections: Favorite games, Suggestions for you and Other games you know. Suggestions for you specifically is kind of dumb, since I believe it only shows games you haven't played yet, so there's 0 chance you can enter Arena with them and the whole section should be removed.

Thanks!
Hey, would it be possible to do the same thing on the same page for "Simple game"? As in, remove the "Some players are available for Arena mode [Play in Arena mode now]" when below 100 Elo? The current Elo isn't visible/parsable when in Display Options / Tiny icons, but the Learn to Play icon can also serve as a filter.

Also, I guess an option to always remove it regardless of Elo also works, and maybe we can also remove the "Display the tables I cannot join" while at it.

Thanks!

I'll try to take a look at that when I have some free time!

I admit I hadn't even taken the time to read your comment, because I was in the middle of releasing another version.
The setting you're referring to actually already exists; it's the third one in the “miscellaneous parameters” section, and it's called “Games you can't play in Arena mode are hidden.”

Looks great! I have a very minor issue, which is that on mobile I cannot move the floating window, but it’s great to have the floating window in the first place!
