Hmm, well, let the paid accounts play with each other :)
Hey, give me the keys to your house, I feel inferior without them.

The game should be played on equal terms. If you have to pay for that, then it’s a paid game. What’s so hard to understand about that? :)
But no, they just want to have it both ways — stay within the limits of a free-to-play game and still make lots of money :) In the end, these cheap manipulations only damage the reputation.

In my opinion, you are starting from a wrong premise.

That the work made by GTschemer here is BY NATURE free for you to access.

In fact, it's not. A human decided to code a game for BGA, and give access partly free partly premium. You can't even know if you could have had one without the other.

I recommend that you work on the fact that the adjective that comes to your mind when you can't pay for something you want is "inferior". To me it's not and I'm quite confident that to you it shouldn't neither.

Being unable or unwilling to pay a premium access to BGA doesn't make you inferior, nor any other player, imo.

And while I can't say for sure, seems GTSChemer will code the whole TI before the official team on steam. Quite a feat and quite the work.

In my country there is a saying : "all work requiere wages, and the other way too".

So, tell me, why does it feel NATURAL to you that GTSchemer's time should be spend for your fun without any counterpart from you but critiscism ?

This game can be played on equal term. In multiple places and timezone. BUt here, on BGA, to be played on equal term by players who can't be satisfied by the five free faction it will require a premium pass, that's all. Feel free to play with people who wna to play the base factions or play elsewhere. Nothing difficult. Far easier than making someone admit that he is wrong in the way he manages his own work and spent time and should work for you for free, imo.

Any idea when, or if expansion content will from both expansions will be added to the game? I did notice the updated strategy cards, construction and warfare from the new expansion.

I have a very negative attitude toward all kinds of manipulative tactics. By the way, that's exactly what you're doing right now. :)
Stay with me here. Work should not be free, and of course, GTSchemer isn't doing this for free. However, if a platform presents itself as free and then uses cheap manipulative tactics to push people into paying, it looks awful. Just make the game paid and stop messing people around.
And honestly, given the way Twilight Imperium games are played, for me it's more like routine, unpaid work than entertainment. :)
So where exactly am I wrong when I say: if you're creating unequal conditions, then let paid accounts play with each other? Personally, I have absolutely no desire to participate in that, either for free or for money.

Oh no, please don't make your own fully-paid website without increasing player numbers with non-paying users, surely you will have a great business model. Please, please don't leave BGA!

No I'm not manipulative. I'm pointing out your biais which is that you believe you are right by confusing your opinion with facts. You are using syllogism, sophism, fundamental attribution error bias, self-serving bias, and as a HUGE part of your behavior here : psychological reactance.

Let me say that more simply : since you posted that opinion of yours, every single answer you got was telling you you were wrong. Of course, there is not many response and there may be will not, but imagine there is a lot of answers telling you your wrong. That's the same as you pointing a color, telling it's green and everyone else answering you it's red. Of course you may be right and everyone esle can be trying to manipulate you.

Or you have an issue with your eyes, which can happen to anyone anywhere, anywhen and should just be treated.

So, what I suggest you here : Go see someone in your life that you are CONFIDENT he/she will NEVER attempt to manipulate you. And ask that person to read that conversation between you and this community here and ask her/his opinion about it.

Imo, that's the fastest way to solve your percepition issue, here :)

I wish you a nice day, and I feel sad that you are able to do such argumentation yet chose to post such a poor initial post. Don't you think that too? That your choice of word was poor, and could only generate the kind of answer you currently got?

I mean, if you're sensitive to manipulation, the fact that you chose to spoke in the name of "the players" instead of you should already light some manipulative behavior in your own choice of word, no? I'm a player, and I don't feel ifnerior, so you mispoke of me, right? You used my voice as an arguemtn without my consent and while lying, so, quite manipulative yourself, no?

I may make communication mistakes—English is far from my native language. I wasn’t speaking on behalf of all players, only for the portion of them, possibly a small one, that I consider myself part of.
But making a definitive claim that my perception is distorted—how is that not a form of manipulation? :) It's a pointless argument.
I'll just restate my position. The game should be played on equal terms. If achieving that requires payment, then everyone should pay. Personally, I don't want to pay and then play against opponents who are already at a disadvantage simply because they didn't pay.

Sorry to point that out so bluntly but :

1. You are only speaking for yourself here, like anywhen and anywhere in your life. Assuming you are speaking for a portion of players without proof of that nor having delegated power by that portion of players to speak for them and still confusing this assumption with fact is the exact definition of having your own perception being distorded or being manipulative. There is no other way around.

2. You didn't rephrase your argument. You rephrased your answer to your argument. Your argument was insultive to the developper of the BGA version of the game assuming he was willingly building a model made to make all players feel inferior. And manipulative since you phrased that argument in an open question to implicite your judgment and not express it frankly. And you still have not presented any apologies for that.

You made a mistake, man. It happens. To everyone, included me, multiple time a day. Best way around it : apologize and go next. It never cost me anything doing so except when my pride is misplaced in from of my eyes.

But hey, I guess having you take half a step back is quite enough. I won't push my point here. Even if I would have prefered that you comment your initial post and admit it's uselessly insultive instead of your "equal term" answer which could have been debatable if the initial insult and then all the smirking "I'm smarter than you so don't try to fool me" debate didn't took all the place in the room.

So I wish you the best of day and a great continuation in your life.
